2025 Winners
High School Winner:
Loafing in a Toasty Bed
Miles W.
Granite Bay High School
"I've been baking banana bread recently. I put a mix together, pour it in a tin tray, and let it bake for around half an hour. Our stove has two oven racks, and seeing the bread all snuggled up in the tray reminds me of my cat, Keebler, snoozing away in the bottom bunk of my bed."

Middle School Winner:
Stacks of Cats
Amerie A.
Eich Middle School
"Stacks of cats represent how cats have lots of emotions, just like how people do."

Elementary School Winner:
Purrrfectly Shelly
Kendall C.
Excelsior School
"I made my purrfect shell artwork out of the materials I did because we recently went to the beach in Southern California and this art piece reminds me of our trip. The shells are from the beach trip and so is the sand. This mix of mediums I used was fun because I got to use my creativity to make something I like such as cats and the beach. The most difficult part was putting all the stuff together and knowing where to put it and finding all the rights places. My favorite part of this project is the beach theme and of course the cat."
